Last 8th - 9th November 2016 the partnership of the project WELL-SCHOOL-TECH held the first meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 Strategic Partnerships for School education and will last 24 months.
WELL-SCHOOL-TECH aims at promoting the mental well being of secondary school students through the development of a pedagogical tool that will use as a basis the good practices on mental wellbeing exchanged among the partnership.
The first meeting had as main objectives to foster a shared vision of the project, its main challenges and risks, as well as establishing a commitment of the partners with their activities. Partners discussed the production of the first project output, a set of best practices for the management of mental health in schools.
The meeting was also opportunity for the comparison of the educational systems in the European countries involved by the project as well as for the different existing national school policies to promote the mental health of students.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the participating entities: Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), Promimpresa Srl (Italy), Italian National Institute of Health (Italy), European Centre for Quality (Bulgaria) University of Lodz (Poland), Europa Training (UK).
